I'm a freakin' student again

Yep it's true. I had a brain cramp and decided to get my Master's Degree - in Management no less. I even received my ID card in the mail today. My first class starts June 28th, which is two weeks from today. *gulp* I'm already stressing over writing papers; I mean look at the title of my blog for crying out loud!

The fun part is I get to go school shopping again! The down side to that is I actually have to pay for those supplies this time around. Crap! Supposedly I'm considered an "Independent" now; whatever. Oh well maybe I'll get enough financial aid that I can go nuts at Staples and buy all the highlighters a human can handle.

Heaven help me.

Happy Flag Day!

It's Flag Day! Here is some interesting information on our nation's flag. Turn your speakers up super loud...if you dare.

My Cat Sleeps in the Litter Box

Strange, I know but how do I stop it? I can't; I can only keep it clean for him. And with three cats, I am going to have to quit my job and become a housewife who isn't married and doesn't have any kids. Go figure.

We got roadrunner today! Yay for us. And the treadmill is getting a look under the hood tomorrow. It's take-time-off-from-work-and-spend-money week and it doesn't involve overeating or excessive drinking. Man now I'm depressed. Well at least I can surf faster. But the drinking part isn't too far away.

I am leaving for vacation on July 2nd to visit my sister in Virginia. The first stop is her beach house near Rohoboth Beach, Delaware. Mary, Millisa and I went last year for a weekend; I didn't want to come back. So I am heading there for 4th of July weekend; I hope I make it out alive. We're heading back to Virginia on the 4th to attend the first of four D.C. Nationals games vs our beloved NY Mets. FOUR GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. I don't think it has totally hit me yet; four major league games in four days. And the Mets! I think I'm going to cry. I am going to have to buy more memory cards and batteries for my digital camera. The Wednesday and Thursday games we're sitting in Section 105. I don't want any autographs; I want my picture with a player. And I don't care which one. All of them if possible!!!

Other than the games, I don't have much planned. I'll be chilling by the pool during the day, hangin' at RFK Stadium in the evening, then heading back to the beach Friday morning. Beach, baseball, beverages...I may not come home.

I'll have to come home though. I'll have to clean out the litter box for the cat.
